"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

What is art anyway? As this is a question long debated I shall not attempt to answer it here. I do a number of odd things. Photography, painting, found object sculpture, writing, video, and the body as art itself. Hope you enjoy the little bits of odd things I post here!
